The site for a village hall was sold on 13th August 1924 by Charles Henry Chandos Sixth Baron Henniker to the first set of trustees ‘for the purpose of a village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of Thornham Magna and Parva’.
In 1973 the village hall became a registered charity with the Charity Commission, charity
 ‘Thornham Parish Hall’, registration number 1030553 with the Charity Commission 
and is run by an executive management committee who are the registered trustees. The officers are:
Chair: Mark Tibbenham (01379 678925)Secretary: Siobhan Evans (01379 788205)Treasurer: Priscilla Macrae  (01379 672903)The trustees annually run events to help raise monies,and welcome the assistance of the community as a whole.  Events include an annual cheese & wine in May as well as a Thornhams BBQ in September. Fund raising events include jumble sales, quizzes etc.
Waste recycling and bottle banks are available for use by residents and hall hires.
The village hall and equipment is available for hire to various parties or individuals. Thornham residents receive a reduced hire rate and can also hire chairs and tables.
