Have you oiled your bike, had a practice ride or two and started collecting sponsors? Time is getting near for the annual Suffolk Historic Churches Trust Sponsored Bike Ride and the thousands of regular participants are being joined this year by riders and walkers from Healthy Ambitions Suffolk and Suffolk: Creating the Greenest County.
Theft of lead from a stained glass window and from a church roof has been reported as part of three separate incidents involving thefts from rural churches in Suffolk recently. The first incident was reported on Friday 22nd January, as having occurred between the 19th and 22nd January, two further incidents were reported on Saturday 23rd January.
Harvest Festival is on Sunday the 11th October, the church service
is at 11.0 and we will be joined by our new young curate, Revd.
Christopher Robinson. Lunch will follow in the Village Hall at around
12.30. All are very welcome at either event – the lunch is for
everyone, not just church-goers, and we would like to welcome as many
from Thornham as possible. Lunch is £7.50 [children £2.50], please ring
