ThorndonShopSituated in the car park of The Black Horse, Thorndon, you can park right outside the shop!

Our shelves are stacked full of hundreds of products at competitive prices, including newspapers and magazines, groceries, tobacco, confectionery, household goods and much more.

We stock local honey and apple juice, organic cereals and the very popular range of “Thorndon Own” cakes, biscuits and preserves. Our milk and cream is supplied by Marybelle of Halesworth.

High quality sausages, bacon and ham are supplied by Neaves , and Palfrey & Hall, both of Debenham, with fresh meat also from Neaves.

On Fridays, freshly baked bread and rolls are delivered by Tudor Bakehouse.

In our freezers, you will find a range of fish from Lowestoft, as well as pies, pizzas and vegetables.

Our sandwiches, pies and cold drinks are particularly popular with passing tradesmen!

Payment by credit/debit card is welcomed, and we have just introduced a popular Customer Loyalty Card Scheme.

The shop is staffed and run entirely by volunteers, and we aim to create a welcoming and friendly service.

So next time you are passing, why not drop in and have a look round for yourself?  Absolutely no obligation to buy!  And if you ever fancy volunteering in the shop, we would love to hear from you!
