Friday 19th June and a miserable end to the week when we lost to a very strong team from Combs Ford in the second round of the Daniel’s Cup. So no glorious run to the County final like last year. Alan Cogdell’s rink got off to a bad start and were 16-3 down after 14 ends but did climb back a little to lose by only 8 shots. Both Alan R and David C’s rinks were never in the running and Laurie’s rink was the only Thornham rink to win - sorry Philip!
