Dear Irene,
Your reply to the repeated request for an early meeting of members of Thornham Magna Community Open Spaces is still awaited, although we now have your written report, on which I will not comment here. The reason for wanting this meeting is to secure more detailed information, to raise questions and hold a full discussion, in the light of the increased scale of the project and the failure of the balancing Thornham Walks application. It remains our priority wish that this meeting should happen before 12 April.
Failing that, we would want to be assured of opportunity for real discussion on 11 May, before commitment at Stage 2.Your report would be on the table, together with your further update (including financial details of the project) and any paper TMCOS members wish to table. This could help to satisfy the grant givers’ emphasis on local consultation.
