Michael Moore's memorial bench was in good use all afternoon and we even had guests from Australia.

 

Thanks go to all those involved in making this a fun day as well as all those who supported by coming.  Special mention goes to Thornham's Bowls Club for the loan of their BBQ; to Christopher Dale for once again making available his large marquee; to the Four Horseshoes for the generous donation of a keg of beer; and to all those who donated food in the form of wonderful salads and delicious desserts; the tombola prizes; guess the weight of the cake and the 'jolly jars'.  A sum exceeding £450 was made which will go towards maintaining Thornham's Village Hall as a community asset.

 

A fitting end to the summer season as children headed back to school the next day.
