Police are appealing for help in tracing a 15 year old boy who went missing from Edwardstone, near Sudbury, Suffolk at 7.30am today, Monday 5 April 2010.
The missing boy is white 5' 8" tall with mousey short cropped hair. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing a navy blue anorak with a hood, black shiny tracksuit bottoms and dark coloured trainers. The missing boy was on a gold and black pushbike and wearing a red cycling helmet and was in possession of a navy blue rucksack.
Police are concerned for the welfare of this person, any sightings of the boy please contact Suffolk Police on 01473 613500.

Be aware that we have had Romany / Gypsy people doing door-to-door visits today. It's unfair to suggest all such visits are to recon the area and plan "return visits" but there's no harm in knowing that they're about. Sadly there is historically a relatively strong correlation between such visits and resulting thefts in the following days / weeks, so perhaps a time to pursue extra vigilence...

Police are urging members of the public to be cautious when dealing with callers after receiving reports of a man ringing up and asking residents if they have been involved in an accident.
Police have taken several calls in the past two days in relation to a man who claims to be working for 'the accident investigation bureau' in London. He then asks whether you have been involved in an accident and asks further questions in order to obtain personal information.

Theft of lead from a stained glass window and from a church roof has been reported as part of three separate incidents involving thefts from rural churches in Suffolk recently. The first incident was reported on Friday 22nd January, as having occurred between the 19th and 22nd January, two further incidents were reported on Saturday 23rd January.
