Some readers will remember, with much pleasure, the years when Wingfield Arts, led by Ian Chance, provided performances and exhibitions both in Wingfield (College, Church and Barn) and more widely. This local centre of cultural enjoyment has been much missed.

Happily, Wingfield Barns is, phoenixlike, to open this very week, with a lively and varied programme for 2009.This is under the auspices of the Mid-Suffolk County Council, our Councillor, Diana Kearsley, playing a key part.  There is something planned for almost everyone!

For background and details of the programme, go to  www.wingfieldbarns.com.  Box Office:01379 384505.

Spring Refresh
Website Help

Spring is here, and the website has been rejuvinated in line with it's natural surroundings Wink. As well as the general look of the site, I've tinkered with the menus too. I've tried to simplify things by dispensing with the menu on the right hand-side and adding sub-menus to the modified main menu across the top of the page. I will no doubt continue to tinker for a while but I hope the new look and feel suits you? Comments welcomed of course and please do point out any problems - I can't for example test the site on all browsers so if you use something slightly out of the ordinary and have problems then let me know.
